Description

What does it take to become a chef? In partnership with the San Antonio Botanical Garden, learn to chop, dice and slice as we dive into the world of cooking. From preparing food, to cleaning, to writing recipes, we will explore all the qualities a chef has in the kitchen. This Camp includes a meet-and-greet and special cooking lessons from the Witte’s very own Choosey Chef!

Virtual Camp includes all the supplies and ingredients needed for campers to create a lunch and two snacks each day, plus several “create-a-side” recipes throughout the week for family dinners. The virtual camp week will  include several chances each day to connect via the Zoom online platform with Camp instructors from the Witte Museum and the San Antonio Botanical Garden, as well as do-at-your-own pace activities with provided instructions. Each week of camp will have some variation in recipes, so repeating a camp theme will still provide each camper with an engaging and fun experience.
